        Grooming Update    

1/31/2012 Another day of temps around 45 and what snow we had is fading fast. I hate to say this but looking at the extended forecasts the 2012 MNUSA Winter Rendezvous is going to be a BROWN event. So as of today we do not look for any snowmobiling taking place, but we do have brown Activities planned for the weekend. A preliminary agenda will be posted on our website www.myblizzardclub.com and click on Rendezvous. Sorry for the bad news, but if the forecast would change we will keep everyone updated. PROTECT YOUR TRAILS JOIN MINNESOTA UNITED SNOWMOBILERS ASSOCIATION AND A LOCAL CLUB

Blizzard Snowmobile Club has 140 miles of groomed trails in Martin County. We groom at about 5 to 7 mph so it takes us about 30 to 35 hours to go over all the trails once, this time does not include stopping to refueling or making repairs. All of are groomer operators have other jobs so they have to take time off from work or go after working hours to get the trails groomed. Thanks for your understanding.
